Todays title - “Obedience to the ‘Heavenly Vision’”

Underlines:
“We lose the vision because of our own lack of spiritual growth.”
“We can not bring the vision to fulfillment through our own efforts, but must live under its inspiration until it fulfills itself.”
“It is at the risk of our own soul’s welfare that we get caught up in practical busy-work, only to miss the fulfillment of the vision.”
“The only way God plants His saints is through the whirlwind of His storms.”

My only note was this - we lose our way through lack of spiritual growth. 

I think what this devotional is also telling us is that we lose our way by busying ourselves with what we believe to be God’s work or what He wants us to do. We want to dictate to God where we will be planted. But as Chambers notes, we are only planted through God storms. So we must be patient, we must endure and we must stay focused on Him. If we can do that, then He will reveal to us, give us a vision, of how we fulfill His will for our lives.
