“Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22 NLT

Chambers talks about how we tend to complicate things. That the simplicity of Christs message is to “look to Him.”
“The greatest difficulty spiritually is to concentrate on God, and His blessings are what make it so difficult. Troubles almost always make us look to God, but His blessings tend to divert our attentions elsewhere.”

The summary in the last paragraph of the devotional:
“Wake yourself up and look to God. Build your hope on Him. No matter how many things seem to be pressing in on you, be determined to push them aside and look to Him. ‘Look to Me…..’ Salvation is yours the moment you look.”

Are our interest so broad that we can’t focus on Him? Are there so many troubles or blessings that we can’t find the quiet place to just look to Him?

He has the power to change us from the inside. To help correct the feelings and/or behaviors that are hindering us and making us feel hurt and separation. He knows us. Cares for us. Remembers us. And is always there for us. Each circumstance in our lives provides a chance to see it from Gods perspective. In times of plenty and want help me to always Look to You Lord.
