“And I will rescue you from both your own people and the Gentiles. Yes, I am sending you to the Gentiles to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me.’”

In todays devotional, Chambers says, “Salvation means that we are brought to the place where we are able to receive something from God on the authority of Jesus Christ, namely the forgiveness of sin.”

There are a lot of Christians who have been awoken to the message of The Gospel. But they have never received anything. Converting to Christianity is not regeneration. “In sanctification , the one who has been born again deliberately gives up his right to himself to Jesus Christ, and identifies himself entirely with God’s ministry to others.”
