Dust

-
As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.
Psalm 103:13‭-‬14 ESV

He knows our frame and remembers that we are dust .... and shows us compassion.

Yet I expect my children to know how to do everything correctly and to behave perfectly. I don't remember their frames and am more often frustrated than compassionate. Help me to be more like you Father.

“‘But the time is coming - indeed it’s here now - when you will be scattered, each one going his own way, leaving me alone.’”  John 16:32 NLT Underlines: “…scattered to their own concerns…” “We will be scattered, not into service but into the emptiness of our lives…” “…no matter where God may place us or what inner emptiness we experience, we can praise God that all is well.” “Dark times are allowed and come to us through the sovereignty of God. Are we prepared to let God do what He wants with us?” “Until Jesus Christ is truly our Lord, we each have goals of our own which we serve.” “…we will see God pointing out that we have been interested only in His blessings, instead of God Himself.” Notes: -are you friendly because of something somebody can do for you?
