Jossy Chacko Story

We had a guest pastor today at church. Our church partners with his ministries in Asia. Jossy Chacko is the Founder and President of Empart, a global ministry that exists to ignite holistic community transformation among the unreached and needy people of Asia.

He told a story of a militant religious man, who through many circumstances found Jesus and put his faith in Christ. 


His old friends of the other faith were angry and sought to kill him. He became a refugee and Jossy put him in a safe place at a facility they have to train people to plant churches. At his time there, this man decided to become a church planter.

Meanwhile, back home his house was burned down and his wife was murdered. When he graduated Jossy asked where he wanted to go to plant a church. The man said he was going back home. Jossy advised him that would not be safe. 

The man looked at him and asked "do you think that Jesus knew, before he came down to earth, that he would die?"


What a strong sentiment and truth this man spoke. Jesus did know, and He came anyway.
