Glorious God

My mother once said,  "these footprints are not mine."  So we daily lift God up? We need to, because there are times when we need to be lifted up by Him.  In all things, praise and glory to God. Amen.

Psalm 28:7

"From the deepest valleys To the highland fields I know you are with me My strength and my shield I won't ask for bronze Or pray for steel Just for Your Spirit My strength and my shield When man's words could be said Or taunts could be jeered I am still in Your peace My strength and my shield  My Lord is almighty Above all that we feel His grace conquers all My strength and my shield" I wrote this in a journal on March 30, 2010. This verse was a stronghold for me and encouragement to a friend as I supported him through a hard time. I have never written much poetry / lyrics, but the Holy Spirit put this on my heart and it was penned quickly. "... My heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him!" The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. Psalm 28:7 ESV
